Can anyone help me with interpreting this dream?

I dreamt my friend and I were in a battle or something and he was all brave and ran up to this enemy spaceship (UFO) and was about to attack it when it shot out a red or blue laser and killed him. Later, I was talking to some woman and she told me it wasn't a game ( I guess I thought the battle was like Sims) and I couldn't bring my friend back....I woke up crying

My friend from the dream and I have this complicated relationship...we used to be bffs in this group but he got a gf frm within the group which messed it up and then I got sick and couldn't hang out anymore and he got new friends and now I don't even know if he thinks of us as friends any more...only I still miss him.

Can anyone please help me with figuring this out?

The reason you had this dream is becuz you think about him alot, and this light that killed him, was that you are thinking about not getting to talk with him any more, and seeing that you were best friends, this is something like dieing to you.

The mind works in a funny way.

I think it means you feel responsible for things that happen to your friend. You feel responsible for things that you can't control and your afraid his actions will bring on irreversible consequences.
