  1. Yellow concealer isn't for redness, green is.

Your skin care routine can help with large pores (I have them too)

I use Prime Time as a primer. It does help. So does using a sponge to appy the foundation.

  2. get some moisturizer.

    or

a primer that you put on BEFORE your foundation.

  3. L'Oreal True Match is my new favorite. If you want a flawless finish, I recommend getting the liquid and powder, along with the concealer (if you are really fair-skinned, I actually wouldn't do that...)

  4. i brand that i think is very good is natural collection

  5. I personally HAAAATE primer, because it clogs up my pores and breaks me out. It's just another extra step and extra layer of makeup that I don't find necessary.

I usually like to moisturize really well, then apply my foundation, and then buff it out with a MAC187 brush.  If I'm oily from being so-well moisturized, I'll throw on a little loose powder to cut the shine.

(A brief tangent of advice: I used to wear foundation on a daily basis, but I've found that my skin looks better without foundation.  I'll still wear it on special occasions, but on a daily basis, it just irritates my skin and breaks me out, leading me to put more makeup on to cover the breakouts, which leads to more irritation, and ... well, it just becomes a great big mess.)

Honestly, if you're scrutinizing yourself with a microscope, you're always going to be able to see some pores :P Trust me, nobody is actually going to look at you from like 3 feet away and be like, "oh my god! you have makeup in your pores!" Be happy with yourself, and enjoy playing with makeup!

  6. Try getting a liquid foundation.

    That blends very well.

Covergirl Tru blend Liquid Foundation [[i think thats wht its called]]

    Try that. =]

  7. A primer really helps!  You can use smashbox or philosophy- and I think benefit makes one too.  They really help your foundation go on smoothly.

Just so you know, yellow concealer blocks out purple, not red.  Green concealers cancel redness.  I am a makeup artist and even though I am a professional I always think those colored concealers are obvious so I would just use one that matches your skin tone.

There are some green tinted moiturizers and sunblocks that might work under your foundation- try Eucerin or Clinique.

  8. I used to have your same problem. How you can see it in your pores. First I put on a little concealer. And then I put powder on my face, and then the foundation. That helps a lot. And then I proceed to my mascara and eyeliner. Do this, it will work. Oh and if I have to recommend anything, it's Maybelline. It works incredibly well!
