Can someone help me by answering these research questions for me?

- Why dont we have royalty aorund anymore?

    that aside

    we *do* have royalty, just not so much in this country because we've never had a monarchy.  royalty is generally rich because they amassed wealth and power at some point in history and that fortune has been passed down.

    no one knows how monarchy formed.

    the brits , japanese and countless other nations keep royalty around mainly as a figure head and because the tradition is deeply rooted in their culture.

    it took billgates several years to amass his wealth but it was easy once microsoft took off.

    please don't ask questions like this under the pretense of schooling. no teacher would incorporate such objective questions as home work , nor would they refer you to such a biased, un backed source.  besides did you miss the fact that it's still summer? most people won't be in school now.

  5. Well, Persia (Iran) used to have royalty. Royalty is rich because of taxes and stuff like that. The Japanese and the British keep royalty around because they think it is a tradition.

    As a result of terrorism and civil unrest driven by greed and anti-establishment feeling the colonists managed to remove their legitimate rulers.

    Ever since then americans have endeavoured to establish their own "royalty classes" and demi gods. Be it Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, The First Lady, modern hollywood stars or Bill Gates all are attemps to substitute for the lack of a divinely appointed Royalty.
