I'm a 17 year old boy and I'm g*y and I have a boyfriend who's 15 and lives in my hood and we started having s*x on a reguler basis about a year ago and his parents know about us and they're ok with it and in fact when we want to have s*x we go to his house to do it and his parents don't mind, anyhow my parents don't know about me.How should I tell them?should I just tell them or have my BF's parents to help me?

And I wanted to say that I'm turning 18 this December and will be an adult by law but he'll still be a minor, how should I continue my relatuonship with him without breaking the law?

  1. No don't tell your parents. Check the law in your area. In some states 15 is legal.

  2. Try not to tell your parent until at least he's not a minor or both of you graduate, IF your parents are homophobia.

But if they're not and you just asking here because you don't know what to say. I'd suggest you tell them by yourself, with your bf's parent accompany you to it, to prevent some bad things happening.

Don't let your parent knows about it from someone else's mouth.

  3. Check the local laws, it may not be illegal as long as he's over the age of consent.

Also, I wouldn't tell your parents that you're having s*x with him, at least not right away.

  4. That varies from state to state.

In Nevada there is a three year age variance.

If you're 18 and the person you're with is less than 3 yrs younger, it's all good.

But the truth is, as long as no one has a problem with the two of yours involvement, there isn't a lot of reason to worry about it.

  5. well, the only things that you really have to be careful with is that he is still a minor. I would ask your BF's parents to help you a little since they are parents maybe they have a good idea how to go about this. I am a mom but my son is still young.. so I wouldn't really care too much about it. I don't know how my husband would react.

  6. Happy (almost) birthday! I hope you and your boyfriend have many days of joy together.

You ask an important legal question that's something of a gray area after some recent court decisions.

A good resource might be the Lambda Legal Defense Fund at www.lambdalegal.org. Click on the tab for Help Desk and read through. There is a phone number you can call for information.

Also, consider asking your boyfriend's parents if they know a lawyer they can ask.

Best of luck! I hope this helps.

  7. WAIT UNTIL HE'S OF AGE, JUST TO COVER YOURSELF. ALSO YOU SHOULD GET HIS PARENTS TO HELP YOU OUT WITH TELLING YOUR PARENTS.

    GOOD LUCK!

  8. Well, you both kinda already broke the law by having underage s*x. To avoid continuing to break the law, stop having s*x with him until you are both of age.

  9. under age s*x
