Question:

Can anyone help me with necklace and bag ideas?

I'm looking for a really long necklace with a charm of some sort on the end. Has anyone got any ideas on these? Or where I can find one?

I'm also looking for a largish bag to fit work stuff in, but I want something a bit quirky and different, but that goes with most outfits?

I'm in the UK, so UK stores would be best, but ideas from other countries etc welcome - particularly if they ship!!

For my idea of style my other question explains it - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah4z1Nb2EBt4hDTvWT49mx4Mxgt.;_ylv=3?qid=20080827084244AAXzuXY

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

  1. 1. I love your avatar! lol.

    2. I love necklaces like that, and also oversized bags!  Here are my suggestions....

    NECKLACES

Urban Outfitter's and Claire's have plenty.  Old Navy and H&M are good bets too. Hmmm....see, I'm Thai-American, so when I went to Thailand, they had a Chinatown in Bangkok which sold all those necklaces at ridiculously cheap prices, and once you bought more than 12 you got wholesale price...so if you can find a Chinatown somewhere up there, search for a jewelery store! lol!!!  That's where I got most of my necklaces.  Anyway style-wise, look for things like....

*A heart on the end, maybe glittery

    *Feathers/angel wings

    *Jewels in bright colors

*A cluster of charms, like a heart, a key, large pearls

    *An owl

    *An octopus

    *A large star

    *A key with a lock

    BAGS:

I just bought an 'I <3 Betseyville' Betsey Johnson tote bag.  Her designs are quite quirky, colorful, fun and unique.  However they are quite pricey soooo I suggest going to Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe, Forever21, dELiA*s, H&M, Target, etc. to look for a big bag.  I love the hobo bag style.  I'm not sure which stores you have in the U.K. but look for something in a unique shape or a bright color/pattern.

  2. For bags Topshop have good ones and also Primark lol and Topshop necklaces are also really nice... Most shops on the high street are good for what your looking for really.

    Hope this helps!
