  1. Craps and "Street Dice" is the same thing. Same rules.

First thing you do is of course BET.

ROLL the dice and depending on what comes out you either WIN, LOSE, or have to ROLL again.

You WIN if - on your very first roll, your "Come Out" roll, you roll a 7 or an 11

You LOSE if - on your very first roll, your "Come Out" roll, you roll a 2, 3, or 12

Every other number 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10 is your POINT. The idea with the POINT is you have to roll that same number again before you roll a 7. You don't WIN or LOSE if on your "Come Out" roll you roll a POINT number. You simply have to ROLL again until you roll the POINT or a 7.

If on your "Come Out" roll you roll one of the POINT numbers (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10)

You WIN if - on any of your subsequent rolls, you roll your POINT. So if on your "Come Out" roll you rolled a 6 and on any of your next rolls you roll a 6, you WIN.

You LOSE if - on any of your subsequent rolls, you roll a 7. So if on your "Come Out" roll you roll a 6 and roll a 7 on any subsequent rolls, you LOSE.

And tht's pretty much "Street Dice." Craps has more of an elaborate telling. Mostly regarding the POINT. In Craps you're allowed to have PLACE BETS. A PLACE BETS is a bet on any of the POINT numbers. Regardless of the POINT, you can PLACE BET on any number.

You WIN if - on any roll after the "Come Out" roll, as long as you have PLACED BET on that particular number. So on your "Come Out" roll you roll a 6. You PLACE BET on 8 and 4. Your next roll you roll a 4, you WIN on the PLACE BET for the 4. On your next roll you roll an 8, you WIN on the PLACE BET for the 8. On the very next roll, you roll another 4. You WIN AGAIN for the PLACE BET for the 4. You can keep WINNING if you continue to roll a PLACE BET number.

You LOSE if - you roll a 7 on any roll after you have established a POINT. You lose all PLACE BETS.

  2. Here's how it works.  You make a bet.  Your friend bets against you.  You roll the dice.

If you roll a 2, 3, or 12 you lose the bet.

If you roll a 7 or 11 you win the bet.

Any other number establishes the point.  Let's say it's a 5.  Now you keep rolling, and the only numbers that matter are the 7 and the point, in this case 5.

If you roll a 5 before you roll a 7 you win the bet.

If you roll a 7 before you roll a 5 you lose the bet, and hand the dice to your friend.  It's now his turn.
