  1. Goal: Develop footwork for rollout passes... Description: Using markers for the center and tackles, place cones or towels about 6 yards behind the tackles. The QB gets into the proper stance over center, gives a short cadence, simulates the snap, brings the ball up in front of the right armpit (reverse everything of left-handed QB's), rolls around the markers curling back to the line of scrimmage. At the end of this action, the QB runs past the line of scrimmage about 5 yards. The QB reaches the top of their arc in 5 steps, then shorten his stride while running to the line of scrimmage. The QB's body is under control with the non-throwing shoulder pointing downfield and the hips still turned in the direction the QB is running... Equipment: Ball, cones or markers."

  2. If you are overweight, probably means poor exercise and poor diet. First thing first go on a diet. Get rid of the sodas and junkfood and drink plenty of water.. about 1 gallon a day. Eat less fatty foods, pasta, ect. Eat more lean foods like chicken, turkey, fish, lean cuts of beef once in a while. Second you need to start exercising. This depends on what you can handle. Start running, start by running about a half mile everyday for a week. then move on to 3/4 mile for a week and keep going higher as time goes on. If you feel you can go a little further.. keep going. also get into a gym to lift weights. Most highschools have weight sets in the gym. Keep working out and eat right and the pounds will shed. Weight lifting will also enhance your throwing strength. Running will help your endurance. Hope this helps... good luck

  3. swim swim swim and then sleep

  4. Eat right.  Eat lots of protein.  BUT, don't eat a lot and not work out.  I would suggest you work out AT LEAST twice a week, three times would be sufficient but you could work out everyday as long as your working different muscle groups, i.e. chest one day, legs the next, etc.  Make sure you eat plenty of meat, fish, eggs, drink lots of milk, etc.  The best thing to do is to work out vigorously and then eat within 30 min, very important.  As for qb tips, don't know any sorry but do that and you will get in shape.  As for excersises, running, bench press, squats (USE CORRECT FORM) adding weight is utterly pointless and you'll hurt yourself if you don't do it right, if you cheat you are only hurting yourself.  Other excersises would include pull ups, dips, push ups, sprints, farmers carry, core excersises with a medecine ball, etc.

  5. work on ur hand and foot coordination. Built your throwing ability with wich ever hand you throw the ball with. oh and most qb dont work on tackling but u should. and work on breaking tackles in case you get sacked. and work on speed

  6. no affience, but your too short to be a qb.

  7. no

  8. Just make sure you eat healthier. Try to work out out as much as you can. Try to work on your abs and your muscles. You will be in shape in no time. :)

  9. Hey bud, coming from a fat kid, what I did was my school had a before and after school workout program, were mainly wrestlers and football players went, but anyone could go, you should check around and see if your school has these weight lifting programs, or simply go to a local gym, like me i work and spend 50$ a month on a gym pass, so i can go a lift weights, and go to a local wal-mart and pickup a cheap weight set, i positive you can find something, might just have to mow a couple lawns :) good luck man.

  10. The best thing you can do is work on footwork. A little running never hurt anyone either. What you need to do is partake in 7 on 7s to develop a sense of timing with your receivers. I take it if you are asking for help to develop your skills you have a bit of talent and coaching help available. Study your playbook and develop timing you will be fine on the skills aspect. You can't wait for football season to get in shape. If you can get into track that would help or if you can participate in a summer lifting program you can work on that arm strength too. 11. Practice getting creamed by really big guys and having your face buried in the dirt.

  12. Ok, so you are in middle school. When summer vacation comes around, hit the gym!

I do not know your age so I cannot be specific, but chances are that if you are JUST hitting middle school you are too young to lift heavy weights and it will alter your height, if you life heavy ones. Find a local gym, I believe you should beg your parents or tell your parents to let you join one. Start the exercise day off with jogging for about 1 hour, if possible, try running, and if you get REALLY exhausted, start walking. Your goal is to try and increase your stamina with this exercise, try to jog longer than you did the day or week before. An IPOD is always helpful as it also has the time feature.

After jogging for an hour, use the remaining 30 minutes to play basketball, shoot hoops in basketball and do LIGHT arm weights (I prefer anywhere from 20 lbs to 10 lbs on each arm and do curls). Do NOT lift heavy weights and DO NOT start leg exercises, you are too young and it will keep you from growing taller. So use this time to life arm weights, about 20 reps per day (should take you 10 minutes). Spend the rest of the time playing basketball or any other sport which requires you to concentrate, stay active and run around a lot. If your Gym has a football program, DEFINITELY practice with the members on the team or observe to see what they are doing. IF THEY DO NOT have a program, try to see if they have an open field outside, if they do, bring a football and start throwing. If not, go back to playing basketball.

If you have a front yard or any open park to go to, I prefer practicing these drills. They are from experts, you may struggle at first but eventually you will get better and even become a starter, IT CAN HAPPEN.
