Can anyone help me with this WMM problem?

I was making an AMV (Animated Music Video) in Windows Movie Maker and then i downloaded a different video from the net to watch later and that video replaced all the scenes in my Winows Movie maker project. Any suggestions on wat went wrong or how to fix it?

Hmm...my Dad uses that software to make movies...and we've never run across something like that.  We've had it lock up and loose everything we've done...but this is new.  I would try it one more time...or find a different software.  If you have anyway to use Final Cut Pro do so...but sadly it's a Mac software...and if you don't have Mac you probably can't use it.  :(
