Please help me! What would be a good arguement for a hunter to know what its good to be a vegetarian ?

I told him that it helps stop animals from abuse and he uses the bible as he's excuse for hunting.

also, he is upset that I contribute to the animal charities more than the human ones.

He fills the priorities are messed up.

This is the guy I am dating..but should say was dating.

He can't comprehend though I tell him animals have feelings and to watch a video on animals being tortured for food.. KFC for example.

He says it's a way of life.

and He can't stand my beliefs and calls them 'unresearched"

please help me, I want to help him try to understand]

and i know NOT all who are vegetarians do it for the animals

he just seems sstubbornrn and into his beliefs.

I told him I can see his side, but there's also my side and he has to respect that.

I told him volunteer @ animal shelters and I did join PETa and help sign for pettions that escalate further to help stop violence against animals, he thinks i just picket and do nothing.

I told him other wise.

He just doesn't seem to understand...but I'd like him to..

he says he does yet gets upset..

this is causing a lot of trouble between us]

yes god made us to be a vegetarian, but He too gave us dominion over all the animals, we can eat any animal we like. Humans are the only ones that have souls. there is no doggy heaven, and cats go straight to h**l! j/k about the cats go to h**l part.

but there is a story in the old testament if you were to pick up a bible and read it you will find it where some of Gods people, the (jews) then known as hebrews. they were being forced to eat the Pharaohs food. this person refused to eat food sacrificed to false gods. he talked the gard into letting him and his companions eat only vegetables and after like a week he and all that ate just vegetables even the guard seen how much better fit they were over the others that ate the food that the Pharaoh gave them, which were red meats and such.

so you see if you read your bible especially you'll find out how God all knowing cares for His people, and everyone else goes to h**l no matter how fit they are. it is a waist of time. so I eat what ever I want and Believe in Jesus right and proper so I can go to heaven and not have to suffer for all of eternity.

tell him to let it go. if he wants to hunt he can, so why cant you be a vegetarian?

if he likes to hunt let him i'm also a vegetarian i don't like animals getting killed and if you repect that, thats great but don't try to force him to be someone he doesn't want to be and if he doesn't respect your decsion of caring for animals then his not the right guy for you hope this helps.

You cannot and should never argue with someone about hunting. It will never lead to anything positive and no one needs an excuse to hunt.

It's not something that I would ever do but hunters are needed to replace all of the predators that have been killed off. They were killed by hunters but they also pose a risk to people and companion animals.

If he thinks that everyone who is vegetarian is "unresearched" and can't accept your decision, it doesn't sound like a good match.

If you care about what he has to say, maybe you could spend a little time volunteering to help people and tell him that you thought about what he said and thought that it made sense.

I'm not saying that he deserves to be listened to with his attitude but you seem to want to put up with it.

Being vegetarian and being hunter are two different things.

If you want him to be vegetarian then tell him all good things that motivated you to be vegetarian and try to motivate him too but slowly. If necessary learn more about the advantages of being vegetarian, there are a lot to learn but I prefer to be vegetarian for the concern of health.

On the other hand hunting is just cruel. A lot of non veg. peoples don't hunt or hate hunting. I believe you also know a lot of things that can motivate him not to hunt. Do it with patience too Darling.

First motivate him not to hunt then to be vegetarian other wise it will be too much load for him to bear all together. I hope it will help you. thanks.
