  1. Multitudes of people before you have come on Yahoo

saying that they've been "shafted" by converters they

downloaded/bought that ended up doing precious little

in terms of watching YouTube videos and movies.

Don't waste your time fooling around with all the stuff

that people here on Yahoo are shilling or trying to sell

    you. Keep things simple.

PSP saves videos and movies only in MP4, and plays

them only in MP4 -- nothing more, nothing less.

Therefore, only 2 formats are available to you: MPEG4

    and MPEG4/H264.

If you want to save yourself all kinds of headaches and

aggravation, why not go with the "real deal" from Sony

itself: it's called "Media Manager for PSP".

If you want to know more, here is their website's URL

completely written out in full, followed by its direct link:

("mv_CF" stands for "movie compatible formats")

    www . us . playstation . com / Support / PSP / Movies / s _ psp _ mv _ CF . html

    http://www.us.playstation.com/Support/PS...

I hope that my answer turns out to be helpful for you.

  2. 1. You cannot watch Youtube in the PSP Browser.

    2. You can get into Homebrew/Custom Firmware and use PSPtube

    3. You can convert online from http://www.vixy.net, among others.

    4. You can check out http://www.pspube.com

  3. I'm using moyea flv to video converter. With this tool, you can download, play, and convert youtube vids to formats that your psp supports. I'm using it for a long time and it works very well.

    Install and launch the program.

You needn't get the url when downloading the vid.

    1. Press the triangle button right behend the add botton, and select "Run FLV Downloader", then "start recording"

Click in the page where the video is playing. The downloader will automatically save it to your hard disk.

    2. convert the video to MP4 format

    3. then save it to your "videos" folder of psp memory card. If u don't find the video on your PSP, you can modify the file name to the filename that is supported by PSP, e.g. M4V00019.MP4. The three characters can not be changed, as it is for video on PSP. You may change the five digits “00019” to other numbers you prefer with the list of videos.

    Good luck.
