  1. When your brakes lock up on wet and slippery roads or during a panic stop, you lose steering control and your vehicle can spin. Rear wheel ABS prevents wheel lockup so that your car stays in a straight line. If your car has ABS control on all four wheels, you also keep steering control. It is possible to avoid a crash by steering around hazards if a complete stop cannot be accomplished in time.

If you skid by braking too hard come off’ the brake and brake again, but not so hard. If your vehicle has ABS - brake firmly and stay on it, you may feel it pumping or hear a noise if the ABS works.

  2. easy on the brakes, stay calm, remember what that book said about skids<

  3. hold down the BREAK a hard as you can and the brakes will stop and release and stop all its own with out pumping the breaks

  4. All the time, any surface?? Are your tires in good condition? If so, time for the mechanic/dealer (depending if still under warranty). Issue could be mechanical or software or a combo...
