i dont know wiether to try or not, i dunno if other people have done this, and if we do claim and get it will it effect the money we get, as you know the more you have coming in the more u seem to pay out, any help please

  1. a claim for disability living allowance is dependant largely on the level of round the clock care needed to attend to basic needs and to ensure the safety of the child .of particular interest is the length of time taken to attend to needs during the night and the frequency and regularity .As far as i know a successful claim should not affect any other moneys as D L A can contribute to safe transportation and improved quality of life for the child.

  2. can i suggest that you talk to your local CAB - they are pretty good and helped me with claiming benefits.

  3. telephone the disability living allowance team here is the number its free 0800 882200 explain what you have said to us and they will tell you or not if they can help they then will send out a form  the form takes approx 2 weeks to arrive and 2 months possibly before you hear any thing good luck
