  1. When I was around fourteen, I went on the Pill for really bad cramps. I'd been on it for over a year, and I started noticing that when I was taking the placebo pills, my period wasn't there and I'd just sit there and be like "what the?" and all confused. I too didn't have any signs or symptoms of my period. It was about when I JUST started the new pack that my period came.

So overall, I'm saying that you'll probably get your period soon, and if not, YAZ must be s******g with your hormones, but there shouldn't be no need to worry about pregnancy!

  2. HELLO, i have been taking yaz for 6 months now. when i first started i would take the white pill on wed-sun. BUT i started on monday-wed. this is normal, sometimes your body is just getting used to the change or hormones. you will slowly get to the right pattern. even if you dont start your period just continue as usual. even if you are on the pink pill at the time. as far as the 7 day thing, honestly i dont know, but i would not chance it. i would wait at least a month.

  3. Alright well, well i started birth control and my first period after starting was late, and very small. Dont worry about it.

  4. When I had the birth control discussion with my doctor, he told me Yaz is effective after a month of use. In the mean time I was told to use a condom.

Even though the label says 7 days after continous use and after your first cycle is done, my doctor said a month "just to be on the safe side".

And contraceptives are all about being safe.
