Can anyone help with Newman?

can anyone please help me summarise what Newman is saying. i seem to be finding it difficult to grasp what he's talking about.

  1. It appears that there are "Notes" under most of his "works"  so scroll down to the last paragraph in each chapter and he better explains and summarise here's an example on  Chapter 6. Assent considered as Unconditional, scroll down to the last paragraph after reading..it's his notes.

    or you can just review his notes after reading "An Essay in aid of a Grammar of Assent" or which ever one you want to read and under CONTENTS is a section on NOTES here's an example ->

    Wikpedia  has  written that  - The Grammar was his explanation for faith. He was concerned with defending faith as a legitimate product of rational human activity--that assent is not contrary to human nature. He even wrote the book against the background of British Empiricism which restricted the strength and legitimacy of assent to the evidence presented for it.
