k well heres the thing, im young, not even 20, and i've noticed like yesterday that my tooth was hurting. i asked my dad and he said it was probably cuz i was eating something really sweet the day before and it was close to like pure sugar. then i noticed that the tooth moved a little and i also noticed that another one of my front teeth moved. now im not sure if those teeth were always like that or just recently and i also dont know if its cuz my teeth are crooked. just wondering if anyone knows what to do about this (besides going to see the dentist..i will if it gets worse) but in the meantime im too scared to eat anything or even brush my teeth! i've also noticed that the same tooth hurts around the same time everyday..like now.

any suggestions will be greatly appreaciated.

  1. i think it has nothing to do with that sweet thing that u r eating..it is probobly your gum..maybe you have already deep pockets..if food get stock in that pockets it cause severe pain...though i advise u to confirm it with your dentist....

  2. I would brush your teeth very carefully.   Check out this site it has some ways to fix the problem or make it better.  If you have tried these and they still don't work call the dentist and either make an appointment or see if they think it is something you should be worried about or not  you don't want to be a 20 yr old walking around with missing teeth if you could help it.  Good Luck I hate having a tooth ache.

  3. As much as you DONT want to hear it, you need to go to the dentist...you need a complete exam of your problem including an x-ray to diagnose what is causing the loose teeth and pain, not to scare you but there are more than just "teeth" that cause problems...there could be something else far more serious going on that only an x-ray and a doctor can detect. Do yourself a favor and don't live in pain and don't loose teeth so young, you will regret it when your older, believe me, there is nothing that can replace real genuine teeth, and it's expensive! Good Luck!

  4. Its not sugar it most likely gingivitis! if its in the beginning stages just go to the doc asap and get a good cleaning/treatment or start using listerine type mouthwash and don't forget to floss. i recommend the dentist/orthodontist that way you can get a full exam and a cleaning.

or u will have to suffer my ordeal lol. i didnt think of my gingivitis as harmful but now i am at the stage right now, where i am told i need to have them pulled cuz they are beyond repair (pariodontal or something) which is the final stage of untreated gingevitus. good luck

  5. How long has it been since you have been to the dentist? Even someone your age can have periodontal disease-you should go to the dentist and have him look at your gum health-the sooner the better-he may just reccomend a extensive cleaning to get you gums healthy- another possibility could be you bumped your tooth to make it loose-generaly the gum tissue arounfdt he tooth tightens up again- if this is the case you would just want to watch for a bump like a blister that forms below the tooth (fistula) if this happens go to dentist ASAP
