    A is false because fossils point to a single common ancestor which all living things share.

    B is false because evolution is anything but steady and consistent.

    C is false because it is known for a fact that the first life developed in the oceans where it was shielded from the deadly UV rays which blasted earth which was, back then, unshielded by an atmosphere.

    E is false because A, B, and C are too.

    So you are left with only D, which kind of makes sense when you think about all the mass extinctions which would have driven creatures to evolve at more a spontaneous rate.
