Can anyone help with some nose piercing questions?

i want to pierce my nose towards the end of the summer but have a few questions:

1. How can i properly care for this piercing? (how do i clean it?)

2. How long will it take to heal?

3. Which is better, a stud or a ring?

i had mine pierced last year and it took over a month to heal and a stud is better and hurts less!

well i rinse mine with water and use a cotton bud 2 clean it but ONLY after its healed otherwise will kill.

I had mine done 5 years ago. The full healing process takes up to 4 months. I got a stud in. They do tend to heal better. My piercing parlor gives you free piercing solution called Studex. You can also get this at Piercing Pagoda keyosk in the malls. It only hurts a second too.
