  1. if his disability is strong enough to be sent to a different school, then yes, you can claim disability. it would be good for you to do that , it would help with the cost of the school, lunches, mabey special programs that will help your child develop socially/acedemically. if he needs it, and it is available take it. that is what it is for. talk to your local social sevurity office or public aide office. it depends on what state you are from , to where you need to go. make sure you have all the necessary paperwork with you from his doctor and the teachers. it will make it easier for them to start his benefits. i would take him to the doctor first, and let them know what the school said, before you go for disability though.  that will make it easier. good luck!!

  2. I believe you can if the child is referred to a special needs school as you then become his carer.

Jester, it's proved, not prooved so I dunno what your spelling says about you! ;o)

  3. if your son is classed as disabled then yes , go see the doctor and tell them what the school told you and if he is classed as disabled they will give you confirmation to make your claim only a doc will know if your son is disabled or its a temporary learning blip hes at good luck

  4. yes if your child is being sent to a special needs school you can claim it i get it for my 5 year old son who has a bit of a speech problem plus he goes to a mainsteam school

  5. omg!!!
