Okay I rencently downloaded google Earth and I was going over Ireland. I found an interesting body of water on the map and can't seem to find it's name. I was hoping someone else might be able to help. It's little under half a mile south south west from Sheskinmore Lough, near Loughros More Bay. North Northwest of Loughros Point. It's perfectly heart shaped. But when I looked up heart shaped lakes/loughs all I found was Lough Ouler which is on the other side of the country near Wicklow. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone help?

  3. This little lake in south-west Donegal is indeed perfectly heart shaped. I think it might be called Sandfield Lough. I couldn't find a map with the name on it, but the reference at the site below " via a lane to Sandfield Lough (G709951) off the R261" as directions to access Sheskinmore Lough leads me to believe that this may be it. The townland off the R261 at this point is called Sandfield. Well spotted!
