  1. What you have is a Helianthemum (sunrose). There are over 200 of them so I can't say for sure which variety you have.

    Helianthemums are evergreen shrubs that are deer resistant, drought and coast tolerant. They are excellent for the rock garden, rock wall and as a ground cover. They can have gray or green foliage depending on the cultivar. They bloom in spring-summer. Most are single but there are some double flowering varieites. They generally get around 8" in height with a spreading growth habit to around 2'. Plant in full sun with moderate to dry water. Hardy to USDA Z4.
