Can anyone in Saint Johns Ambulance Cadets, or anyone who knows anything about it, tell me what its like?

i am thinking of joining my local one, i'm 13. also - does it have a uniform, because i've heared it does - if so. what?

    I go to SJA Cadets and Adults at my local base. In my opinion its amazing and really worthwhile having on your CV. You'd find that most employeers would pick you over someone in a job because of the first aid knowledge. You also learn other things such as sign language and radioing as pposed to first aid. Yes, there is a uniform but for cadets it's very basic. Its a plain white shirt, black shoes and trousers, black jumper and tie, and a beret but only for formal occasions. It's a great laugh and i would say if you want to join it then go for it.
