The first dream: In this dream there was a crisis where food was getting low. The food that was available was poisoned. I got sick from eating it. But than I had got some type of "spiritual power" where I didn't need to eat food. I was hungry but than I got full from not eating food.

The second dream: I was near a school outside in the parking lot. The dream involved a restaurant, sort of like a college campus'. I can't really remember it that well but I ordered a lot of food in this one but I made sure the food was kosher/halal (like no pork, ham, so I ordered a turkey sandwhich). I was wearing a black T-Shirt that said something like "I love the Prophet" I think it was referring to the prophet of the Islamic religion, Muhammed pbuh.

Third dream: I had an Arab boyfriend, this character was played by someone in my old class that I do not really know well, in which he loved me so much that he didn't want to see me hurt. My family brushed him off & he was sitting at a table by...

  1. It seems you are in a situation where you are not getting the quality of spiritual food that you need.  Then, you fast, and get some spiritual strength from that.  But, perhaps wherever you meet with other Christians, you do not trust the teaching and/or preaching to meet your needs.  It doesn't go deep enough, and it contains too much of man's doctrine mixed in, not just God's truth.

So, you are exploring outside your own church to find more diverse and strengthening spiritual fare.  You want to make sure it is "kosher," meaning true and not false.  You want to make sure what you take in is the truth of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but you still have begun searching outside the faith of Jesus Christ, which has been handed down to us through the scriptures, prophets and apostles.  PLEASE do be careful.

Even if your local fellowship is not giving you all that you need, there is more than enough abundance and mystery and wisdom in Christ Jesus to meet your every need and keep your mind and heart questing to know more of Him and His ways throughout eternity.

PLEASE realize that zeal and intensity does not insure truth.  Many who are in a weak Christian environment are attracted to the zeal and fervor they see in some of those who follow Mohammed, but there are many who claim the Muslim faith who are just as lukewarm about their religion as some half hearted Christians.

Even if your church and your family leaves you spiritually hungry, no true relationship with God is built, dependent on  what others feed you.  God wants you to come to HIM for what you need.  Those who seek His face when no one around them seems to truly hunger for Him will be GREATLY rewarded.

If you have BIG hunger and BIG questions, know this...

you cannot hunger for what does not exist.  The God you hunger for far exceeds your hunger, and He desires you even more than you desire Him.

It is ok to learn what other's believe, but never spend more time studying to see what others believe than you spend reading God's Word, the Bible, and spending time in praise and prayer, so that you can truly come to KNOW Him.

Those who are more intelligent, more creative and more spiritually hungry can know SO much more of God than those who are sleepy and satisfied.  Though some who seem "sleepy" to us may actually know God at a deeper level than we do, but not have the same intellectual drive or ability to communicate, but are deep in wisdom that we have not yet achieved.  HOWEVER, God has filled His word and the universe with truths for you to search out.

I pray you cling to the bloodstained hands.  All treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in HIM.

    Love,

    Fairelight
