Can anyone interpret my dream (snake/money)?

Question

I dreamed that my Dad was talking to me about a way to get money, either by playing the lottery or selling something or investing. I think winning lottery was the main thing.

As he was talking there was a huge snake in the room. It looked kind of like a giant green cobra. The snake was a symbol for the money my dad was talking about (I knew this as the dream was taking place, it is not an interpretation).

My dad kept saying how everything would be great, we would have a bunch of money and we could handle it, but the snake kept moving more and more freely. At first I thought it couldn't reach me, but it started chasing me around the room and eventually it "consumed" me. I say consumed because I never really saw it's mouth open and don't remember going into it's belly. It just kind of ran into me and I knew I had been consumed by it.

I would like to add that I was extremely frightened by the snake. I kind of halfway woke myself up because I was trying to scream aloud.

Be careful you might get consumed by it. God is warning you choose spiritual treasures Jesus Christ.

Jesus said where your heart is so will your treasure be.

Sometimes, a snake can represent the "lower desires", as in the story of Adam and Eve.  Even though this snake consumes you, it doesn't mean you are any worse than anyone else.  Each person has to fight their own personal battle against these "desires" at some point.
