Can anyone kindly tell me if this company is real?

I received an announcement via my yahoo e-mail that I have been awarded a prize... Can anyone tell me if this company is serious?? I really appreciated!

THE INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY CLAIMS AND RELEASE DEPARTMENT.

Sadly known of these emails or post is true. Its a scam, expecially if you have to give personal details.

Ignore it mate, i had a similar email telling me i'd won a huge amount of money after playing the lottery in Amsterdam, and no i have never been to amsterdam!

Delete it and do the same with any others you receive, it's probably a scam and sadly somebody will fall for it, dont let that person be you!

Scam mate, and would be even better if the above address existed which it doesn't cause I used to live in Newcastle!
