  1. Anyone can interpret dreams, even you!

It could very well be that the snake is someone you know. You heard people say, "That person is a snake in the grass!" Biblical snakes and serpents represent evil. Just like Satan disguised as a serpent lured Adam and Eve into eating the forbidden fruit.

A voice told you to pet the snake and be nice to it. That voice may be a third party or even yourself convincing you to be nice to the snake. You could be the voice because sometimes humans have the abaility to talk themselves into doing something. It could be a person of authority like a boss, teacher, or parent. It could also be someone who could have influence over you like a peer. Be weary of "Peer Pressure."

You petted the snake. Petting involves touch. Oftentimes in dreams touch represents making contact with the intention of communicating how one feels or of an emotion or becoming acquainted or establishing a relationship.

The snake bit you first, then it bit itself.

When a snake bites it is really attacking. An attack in a dream may dramatizes the existence or future existence of a force in which there is an attack or assault physical or verbal.

If I were you I would be anticipate, be cautious and be on guard otherwise it will surprise you. The first step in avoiding this issue is knowing that it exists.

Unfortunately, you hadn't mentioned how the snake biting you made you feel. Were you hurt, suprised, shocked, or neutral. These feeling in dream may impact your actions if and when you are attacked.

Being that the snake died by biting itself is very likely that, with no help from you, your attacker(s), will likely be their own worst enemy and and up "killing themselves" and just leaving a shell for all to see. What or who your attacker is should end up biting themselves in the end and be no longer a threat. This is not saying that your attacker will really die but the attacker wouldn't threaten anyone no longer.

I should tell you that it's your dream - It belongs to you alone; it was designed and dramatized for you alone. It was staged by your subconscious for your intelligence to assist you in becoming aware, in solving, correcting, improving, achieving, and serving; It is your observations, examinations and analysis.

  2. Well mabey you dont trust ppl? Or mabey your feeling betrayed latly..... Or mabey your in a new situation and your listening to other ppl's advice and you dont trust them

  3. This is what I think it means:

This might come out akward, but yeah...

To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you.  Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize danger. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes.

  4. The darkness symbolizes confusion or deceitfulness. For both men and women, snakes are a symbol of sexual power and energy. Someone told you to pet the snake, but he tried to bite you. This means that you are uncomfortable with your s*x life/sexuality.

No one can truly tell you what your dream means. For everyone it is different. But I hope I helped some. ♥

  5. There is no such thing as a person who is able to interpret dreams. Dreams are the result of your brain waves going haywire during REM sleep cycles. Occasionally stress, work, everyday life, etc can influence what you dream about, because that is what is on your mind. Those books that try to give you meanings are wrong. You are the only one who can interpret your dream, if you wish to believe that it is possible to do so.

  6. Dreams can be interpreted but should be interpreted for the individual rather than taking things to mean specific things for everyone.   Dreams are the unconscious projections of the day's residue and the brain working through this.  However, there are certain theme than can result in an educated guess.

In this dream the snake could be a symbol of the sexual male or it could represent danger.  Petting the snake could be interpreted in a sexual way and if so would indicate some recent sexual frustrations in your life.  When you pet the snake, have a relationship, have s*x, then there is danger.   You are vulnerable.   However, in this case the dream indicates you were able to avoid the bite and instead the snake kill itself.  This would suggest you came out of the situation okay.  You were fearful you would be hurt but it turned out okay.  It would appear the other party did not fair so well.

Let me know if this helps.

  7. Dude, there are like a lot of books out there on how to interpret dreams. They say that colors in dreams mean things, and that objects in dreams are most of the time symbolic. But there are as ton of just weird dreams out there, I'm not sure this dream is anything special. I'll see if I can look up this dream and get an idea of what it means. (If it means anything.)

  8. In case no one's thought to mention it even though someone probably has the snake is of course a stigmatized symbol of evil. Biting itself. . . the circle of life? Karmic cycle? One hand washing the other?
