  1. Try a good German Dornfelder, Peter Brum is a fine producer.

Greek Mavrodaphne is another choice, but it can be a bit sweet at times.

  2. Here in Australia you can get a pink moscato from Brown Brothers.

I've tried it and it isn't to bad, that's cming from a person who hates red wine but loves white, expecially moscato.

Ask at the local pub or grog shop, they should be able to help you

Without knowing where you are it can be hard to say

  3. Go to a wine shop and ask for a rose (pronounced ro-seh) they are typically a pinkish color/red wine, I don't care for them but you might be lucky and find a sweet one. Also, try Beringer white merlot. Also, if you like sweet and it doesn't have to be red, go for a reisling called Monchhoff, made in Germany (it's delicious). Walterbrook, i have heard, makes a killer reisling as well. Stay away dry reislings. Hope this helps!

  4. There is really not a sweet red wine that is similar to a moscato - however the sweetest that I've tried is by Relax (they are known best for their reisling).  Good luck!

  5. If looking for a sweet or semi-sweet "RED" wine, you may want to try a nice Beaujolais.  Although considered a dry wine, Beaujolais is a bit more fruity than other dry reds.  My favorite sweet reds are:

    1.  Recioto Classico della Valpolicella

    2. Torcolato

Both are sweet reds from the Tre Venezie region of Italy.

Although labeled as a sweet wine, its is not quite as sweet as it's French counterparts.
