3. how to make them interesting?

Stuff like that.

  1. First of all, you must remember that publishing isn't as easy as it sounds. Some authors get hundreds of rejection slips before they finally get their book published. Some don't get published at all. But, seeing as how you haven't finished the book yet, I would worry more about the book than publishing. Stephen King has great advice, which is to write the book, put it away for 3-6 months, look it over, then rewrite it. His rule is that your first draft is the same as your second draft, only subtract ten percent. This can go either way, though.

    Good luck!

  2. 1. There are a few different ways to publish books. The two most popular are sending it off to a publishing company, or self-publishing. The first is harder, as you will have to send in various other informations besides your manuscript, but you won't have to pay anything. Self-publishing is always a good option for authors just starting off. A popular site to do this at is www.lulu.com — you just have to give them your manuscript, choose things such as book size or page number, and you will automatically be published. But the downside is that you will have to pay for each copy of the book that you print out. Another method of book publishing is called publish on demand, where you give them your manuscript and a publishing fee, and they will publish it. But unlike the other two, this will not earn you any money, and is best if you just want the glory of seeing your work in print. (And no one is too young to be published. :))

    2. Don't rush, just try to concentrate on your writing and let it pull you in. Focus on descriptions and dialogue, especially.

    3. If you find it interesting, chances are that someone else will. Don't worry about making it interesting, just write from the heart, and write for *you.*
