I've also heard that there is Faery Wicca, if this is true some information on that would be appricated as well.

Any book titles, website addresses, or personal knowledge would be helpful.

Please, do not comment if all you're going to say is that you do not believe they exist.

  1. Faery Wicca (or "Fairy Wicca") is an umbrella term that refers to any tradition of modern Wicca that focuses on the Fae (gnomes, elves, faeries, sprites, etc.), their lore, and their relation to the natural world. It may also refer to a specific tradition of modern Wicca, founded by author Kisma Stepanich.

Faery Wiccan traditions are strongly tied to nature, particularly seasonal changes and the solar and lunar calendar. Adherents of Stepanich's Faery Wicca claim that it recovers the traditions of an ancient fairy race called the Tuatha De Danaan, the mythological precursors to the Celtic people; however, this is disputed by those familiar with ancient Celtic polytheism and mythology. Stepanich's Faery Wicca draws liberally on some degree of Irish mythology, from the author's interpretation of Celtic history, legend, pseudohistory, imagination, and a variety of non-Celtic sources.

Faery Wicca is not related to the late Victor Anderson's Feri Tradition of witchcraft, which is sometimes (confusingly) spelled Faery or Fairy, nor is it directly related to the g*y men's group, the Radical Faeries. Though Faery Wicca may draw inspiration from some of the customs practiced among the ancient and modern Celts, it shares more with other modern Wiccan traditions than with the "Fairy Faith" as it is known in traditional Gaelic culture. Hope that helped!

  2. If anyone tells you the fae do not exist, Well, I'll just say Tinkerbell won't be very happy with them. Yes, they exist. I don't know about Faery Wicca, but I had a deck of Faery Wicca Tarot. It's difficult to get any factual information on the fae (all of the creatures which inhabit faery including fairies, elves, gnomes, pookahs and many many more) because they are fiercely private. Almost everything "known" of them is speculation. There are a few things which are known to be true. 1) NEVER p**s them off! You don't want to know the kind of trouble they can (and probably will) cause you. 2) If you are lucky enough to cultivate a friendly relationship with them, they will be as protective of you as they are of themselves. Including your family, especially young children. 3) If you suspect there may be fae living in any specific area, RESPECT THEIR HOME. Just like going into a friends house, you don't throw trash  and garbage all over. Don't do it in the faes home either. Even if you can't see them, they are watching you. So, remember your manners. Say please and thank you if you take anything from the area. Ask permission if you're planning on spending any amount of time in their vicinity (like camping or having a pic-nic) and at the very least, offer to share with them whatever you have. And do be careful about walking through a faery ring. It's like spinning your tires in someones yard. Best to avoid it unless they invite you.

  3. i have had a elf/pixie living with me for some 8 yrs now and he has been a great friend to me as i have been thro the mill a bit but happy now anyway he 'borrows' stuff and likes to move and hide things that is needed ie the tv remote, pens, and he has brought more in and out of my home they are all welcome but when i have 2 forks left cus they have helped themselfs to them it can get funny but they give back to me in different ways like seeing them walk towards me on a warm summer night and saying thank you or giving me nice dreams and giving mt daughter fairy knots in her hair witch can be hard to brush out i have loads outside of where i live as there is alot of willows about 10 foot away from me and a large patch of wild ground so they have a undisturbed life and i did find a fae ring of mushrooms on my lawn  few days ago so im now in the middle of working with them even more now and im puting a offering together for them but if you want fae's in your life you have to respect them and there home and they like shiney and bright things and steal your socks so good luck in finding them and if you want anymore info just drop me a e-mail and i will get back to you as soon as i can but i do have 3 kids to see to so it ets hard to get to my laptop
