Can anyone please help with my tomatoes?

I'm growing tomatoes and they are rotting at the bottom. The tomato itself is getting brown and not becoming round at the bottom of it. Could anybody help me fix this problem and tell me what I'm doing wrong? I water them daily and keep them in the sun. I have 3 pots of regular tomatoes and all are doing the same thing. I have 2 pots of baby tomatoes and they're fine. Help please?

  1. Try and replant the tomatoes somewhere else in the yard and try not to water them every day just go out to where the tomatoes are and feel the ground and if it is still damp then they don't need water.  If not then water them.  That should help them recover from being overwatered.

  2. Before you do anything I have a question are you just watering the pot, or are you spraying the whole plant. You need to not only water tomatoes, spray off your tomates as if it where raining on them.  I had the same problem with my deck tomates and this is what I was told to and it worked out great for me. Good Luck.

  3. You have blossome end rot ..it is from lack of calcium in the soil..Crush up about 3 rolaids real fine and put around each plant and then water in for a quick fix..then go to home depot and get some lime and treat there after..also toamtoes should only be watered about twice a week..not every day..I will post this and get you some 9nfo on this..

Read the 2nd paragraph at the bottom of this page about overwatering..

After doing the rokliads for a quick fix Home depot sells a label of products called"organic choice"..get the organic choice  lime..a small bag..it is 28% calcium..and in slow realease pellet form..do not use straight lime at this point it will burn the plants..
