Can anyone please recommend a good Historical documentary about English Monarchs?

I've already seen most of the documentaries by David Starkey and Terry Jones. They were awesome!

So can you Brits recommend something else for my bored American butt to watch? English Monarchy History is just sooooooo darned interesting!

Simon Schama's A History of Britain

It's a lot broader than just the monarchy, but obviously the royals feature heavily and also put the monarchy into context.

I should point out that Simon Schama is someone who people either love or hate, I hope you're the former.

A good read is Henry 2nd by Jean Plaidy, you will really enjoy it. It is a book you will not be able to put down.
