Can anyone please tell me how me and my family can move to America. What are the procedures,etc??

What are the procedures,etc?? I have looked at the Embassy website but it all gets a little confusing. I need someone to tell me in plain English......is it difficult to do, how to do it, etc.....

Unless you have a skill such that a US employer will sponsor you to come to the US, or manage to get an inter-company transfer with your existing employer in the UK to a subsidiary etc. in the US, it will be very difficult to move to the US.  But you can start with the USCIS website.

Unless you have enough money to buy an entrepreneur visa you will need to first find a US employer to sponsor you for a visa.

If you are a graduate with experience in your field then start applying for jobs over here. Expect it to take a while as this country is in recession and many employers are cutting staff right now. There are a limited number of employment based visas available each year so once you find an employer to sponsor you the next step is to apply for a visa and hope you are one of the lucky ones. Since the visa is not guaranteed you will understand that is another reason employers here are unwilling to sponsor foreign applicants unless they have outstanding skills.
