if an indoor freeview ariel with plug in booster is as good as an outside freeview ariel, i dont really want to go to the trouble of putting one outside if an indoor one would do the same job. Thanks all

  1. your question is a statement, but i think what you meant to type should have started with 'Is', and not 'If'

I dont have a telly, so cant answer your question

  2. It obviously depends on where in the country you are and if you would get a strong signal anyway.  You can check out your supposed signal strength by inputting your postcode on the freeview or digital tv websites.  We have recently had a new aerial fitted (£188) because on our old indoor loft aerial (with a booster) we kept getting picture freezing and jumping on the digital stations.  Now we get an almost perfect picture.  You would have to be in a very strong signal area to have a decent reception with an indoor aerial (I presume you mean the ones that sit on top of the TV).

  3. if it does not then you can always put an outside arial in the loft (it does not always have to be outside)

  4. i think you anserwerd your own question there
