  1. Aspirin can help clotting in the blood and can help in heart attacks. I think it is also helpful in high blood pressure.

    Garlic can help manage high cholesterol levels, as well boost the immune system. It has a lot of great health properties, but the best effect is from eating it raw.

  2. Aspirin inhibits platelet aggregation, in other word it "thins" the blood. Garlic also does this somewhat but aspirin is more potent.

  3. Aspirin is a blood thinner, in other words it prevents clotting. Garlic has been said to decrease cholesterol and decrease blood pressure but studies are not complete. The AAFP does suggest stopping of high does of garlic 10 days before surgery due to increase clotting time.
