  1. This is a very unusual question.

Mushrooms and toadstools are fungi not plants and are more closely related to animals.

Algae, the most primitive of plants come in many colours such as brown (kelp, bladder wrack) and red (one has the common name Irish moss, although it is an alga).

Algae are also part of lichens, but it is the fungus part that provides the colour.

Other than these, the majority of non seed-bearing plants (liverworts, mosses, horsetails and ferns more or less) are green - they have to be to photosynthesise unless they are completely parasitic. I found one parasitic liverwort Aneura mirabilis which is a non-green parasite. Other than that, mosses and liverworts have two stages called the gametophyte and the sporophyte and the plant alternates between the two. Many sporophytes are parasitic and grow out of the gametophyte and are therefore not always green.

I hope this helps, but I still think the question is bizarre!

  2. Some mosses, ferns, and liverworts.

  3. You could try Lichen and mildew

  4. Try mold or parasites like spanish moss

  5. Do fungi like molds, mushrooms, toadstools and mildew qualify as plants nowadays? I'd stick to the mosses, ferns and liverworts if I was you.

  6. Hate to burst your bubble but mushrooms and toadstools are not plants- they are fungi. There are five groups of living things on this earth: animals, plants, 2 groups of microscopic things and fungi. So they're different.

If a plant doesn't produce seeds then i needs to produce spores. I am not sure if bulbs count as seeds since baby bulbs are formed like seeds in the ovary, and could be counted as the same thing.

Spore producers include ferns and mosses so look up some varieties that are not green.
