Can anyone please tell me where I can purchase an 8mm cassette adapter so I can view my old camcorder tapes?

I want to buy an 8mm cassette adapter that will allow me to view my old camcorder tapes via a vcr. help

Only place i can think of is on eBay, just waiting to see if some one sells one, or put in a request for want it now on eBay

You won't fit an 8mm cassette (as in Video8 or Hi8) into a VHS machine any which way because the two tape formats are nowhere near the same size. VHS tape is twice as wide for a start. The only thing you can do is to get hold of another 8mm camcorder off ebay or whatever (they go for pennies) and view them that way.

There is no "8mm cassette adapter".

The "cassette adapters" are only  for VHC-C tapes to play in VHS VCRs.

8mm tape is a different sized tape and saves in a different format.

Fine a camcorder that can play those tapes - or take them to a video conversion business.
