I am quite sure that I am not a racist, as I have black friends whom I served with in the Forces and am still in contact with, and they feel the same way. Can you please answer this simple question.

No, sorry, I have no idea except that perhaps the govt. thinks that this country might need these people to do the jobs the Brits cannot, or will not lower themselve to do.
