These are the players. If anyone know any of the pros and cons for any, that would be great. Pics are available through the hyperlinks.

Seems like a good price, but the camera feature seems pointless

Ultimately, which is best and (battery life etc, if you know) which ones work with Vista?

  1. Honestly, I don't know much about any of those. . . but I will tell you that what I tend to do is go online review-surfing.  That's not always the greatest as far as telling you what you really want to know, but it'll give you some idea.  I'd look for reviews from perhaps magazines that exist in print or somewhere that looks like it reviews a lot of players -- hopefully, you can find someone that's actually looked at more than one of them that's on your list so it's actually a valid comparison.

I've had personal experience with a few Creative players, including a similar one that's supposed to be prone to crashing and other assorted issues. . . no problems for *me* in over a year that the reset switch couldn't fix, but I may just be lucky.  I tend to like them and the name at least has better recognition for me than the rest of your list, but I've never had anything like the others to be able to really make a comparison.
