...North Korea benefitted from theirs?

I know, that testing the missiles is a stupid aggressive move, but it seems that countries which aquire a nuclear arsenal suddenly gain alot more influence in the international community, than those which dont

  1. There isn't much more I can add to that statement.  You are very right.

I only wish people wouldn't push so hard to be seen and heard.  So many people die during that process.

    Sandy  :O(

  2. Do you like my toenail polish.......

God i hate it when you guys get all smart on me.....GROW UP FOR GODS SAKE AND MAKE ME LAUGH......

  3. I don't think anyone blames them, I just think there is genuine opposition to letting them into a position of power that, as you rightly state, nuclear arms bring and the easiest way of getting the people against Iran is to make out they are actually going to use them. Realistically they are just trying to advance in the international popularity contest we call world polotics. Rant over............no wait.

Just a reminder for americans, worry all you want, you remain the ONLY country to have actually used a nuclear bomb on an ememy so your opinion is invalid in my eyes.

Ok, now my rant is over.

Hey Goatboy, hope all is well with the production company and that, laters.

  4. I'm sorry,  I have a problem in my Chinos.

NUKES are hot.  Everyone should have them.

  5. The problem with Iran getting a nuclear bomb is this...

Personally, I would love to see ALL nuclear bombs destroyed.  Ours, Russia's, Korea's, etc.  The thought of any  nation (yes even the good old USA) having the power to completely wipe out an entire population is just plain crazy.  However, that wish will never come to pass.  Luckily, as a Christian nation, we are taught to preserve life at all costs.  We are taught that it is morally WRONG to kill.

Unfortunately, that is not the case in Iran or in other fundamental Islamic countries.  I lived in the Middle East for 2 years and through talking to Muslims that lived there I learned a bit about their culture and their beliefs.

They are taught that to die for the sake of Allah (God) is a great honor and that person immediately goes to Paradise because he/she made the ultimate sacrifice for Allah. That is  why suicide bombings are previlent in the extreamist groups.

They are taught that Islam is the ONLY TRUE religion in the entire world and EVERYONE should be converted to Islam in order to attain Paradise (go to Heaven).

They are taught that it is their DUTY as a follower of Allah to convert all other religions to Islam.

They are taught that if you refuse to be converted that you are an "infidel and an abomination to Allah" and should be destroyed.

Not ALL Muslims believe this way, most of them have become more westernized in their thinking and would not want to "convert or kill" a non believer.

However, Iran is a FUNDAMENTALIST COUNTRY and they would have no problem with it.

There is a group of fundamentalists in Saudi Arabia called Matawah.  They hate all things that are modern and would love to see Saudi Arabia go back to the way it was in the year 600 A.D. when Mohamad walked the deserts.  To them those were the "good old days" and all true Muslims should strive to go back to those times.  They actually roam the streets with machine guns and will shoot out a sattelite dish if they see it on your home.  They believe that television is evil and will corrupt the Saudi people.  They would have no problem nuking the "Infidels" back to the stone age.

That is the main reason it is so dangerous for countries like Iran to obtain a nuclear bomb.

As for North Korea... their leader is certifiably crazy and would push the button just to satisfy his lust for power.

  6. I don't see how a rogue nation hinting to us of nuclear research one year and test firing missiles the next can be beneficial to the world. Especially so close to Israel. Ahmedenijad (spelling is probably off) is not a sound person, sadly he is ruler of Iran and hates the US and Israel. The technology Iran is playing around with cannot be good for anyone in the world. Gaining influence is not good when the attention being sought is purely negative and aggressive to our allies and those we are not allies with. Kim Jong is still on our s**t list and is by far the most insane of two leaders. (he's the guy that kidnapped Korea's top movie director just so he could be taught how to make good movies himself!).

We also need to realize in both countries that there are innocent peoples there that are being oppressed and still need our help and the world's help to be freed of tyranny.

  7. Their means of doing so is really stand-off-ish.  They refuse help or support for building their nuclear program.  If they could prove iwthout a doubt that their program is nothing but for civil use, then no one would have a problem with it.  but them threatening to destory other nations leads everyone (yes including russia) to believe they have other intentions.

  8. It is a power symbol, we cannot blame them. Though I would prefer NO ONE has a nuclear arsenal. Too much power for any side or country comes at a horrible cost to the citizens one way or another.

  9. Who can blame Iran..for their nuclear programme..when here in the outback of Australia..we have dump sites of nuclear waste..on indigenous. land .( no respect  to  caretakers of this sacred land) .....Kakadu is renowned ..for parts of it's sacred ground  . known as sickness land  .due to uranium poisoning..

ok..in regards to acquiring nuclear arsenal.....no matter what country it is a weapon of fear..which is a powerful motivater...I wish we lived  in a world where nuclear weapons did not exist..peace to the world or the world in pieces..

  10. And more to the point, nuclear armed states can no longer be bullied, threatened, or attacked with impunity. The USA and Israel have gotten used to using the Middle East as a free fire zone, a nuclear armed Iran would make it far more difficult for them to do that. This is of course what all the hype is about, it's not that Iran is a threat, even with a few nuclear weapons Iran would be  outgunned thousands to one, it's that a nuclear armed Iran will be able to defend itself and its friends...something  the USA and Israel are desperate to prevent.

  11. Does this dress look pretty on me...?

  12. America played Iran and subsequently the rest of the world played Iran back in the original gulf war in the 80's for own financial gains.

I'm sure they haven't forgotten that and its no surprise they want to build a nuclear arsenal so there respect and feared and can no longer be bullied by the international community.
