  1. Lol, we can't control our evolution because an individual does not evolve, a population evolves.

Evolution is defined as the change or genetic frequency within a population over time.  If you really want to control evolution, take a trip.  You've just changed the genetic frequency of 2 populations (the one you left and the one you entered).

Okay, now that I just ruined your definition of evolution, I should also tell you not to worry.  We are like any other animal, we will either adapt to our environment or go extinct.  The one truth is that all animals go extinct (however, they may still leave decendants).  We can never predict what a selection pressure is in the future, so don't worry about it.

  2. It is your nature to have the ability to determine exactly how you will relate to reality as you perceive it.  If you have compromised that freedom it is you and not anyone else who has done so.  We all may have to deal with the same reality but each and every individual must determine how any why each activity is to be handled.  Some realities we have the freedom to change, like drive to the store in a car as compared to walking.  We may have given up or compromised our freedom in the sense that perhaps we erase out of our concepts walking to the store since we are no longer in shape etc.  But this too is human nature to muddle up things like this.  But we have the freedom to chose even though each choice is individual, it may seem and be deflected onto society and peer pressure etc but still, even that is a choice.  When you give into God's will you make the choice to do so and that frees God of the responsibility of our choice.
