Can anyone reccomend a nice hotel in Hobart?

We have just moved to Launceston and want to go and stay in Hobart next monday night but have never been there. Would like a nice hotel for my husband and I to stay in preferably in town or walking distance to town and not extremley expensive?

I've stayed at Salamanca Inn.  The self-contained apartments are at the top of Salamanca Place, and is very handy to town.  I've also stayed at Blue Hills, which is a bit further out (in Battery Point).  Both are quite nice and reasonably priced.

The Mercure is close to town and fairly reasonably priced, but suggest you try www.wotif.com.au as see if you can get the Henry Jones which is beautiful

hobart IN?  then it would be the star plaza

The Grand Chancellor is well positioned for everything and overlooks the water.
