Can anyone reccommend a campsite for a couple aged 26 in the vendee france?

We trying to find one with direct access to a beach, within yards of restaurants,shops etc. thankyou.

Check the area around Sable D'ollone. The Vendee is very rural and at least in this area you have some "civilization" close by. Also try http://www.vendeecamping.com

While I've never been to the Vendée, for this and similar questions you could do worse than to check the Yellow Pages. If you go to http://www.pagesjaunes.fr/trouverlesprof... all you have to do is enter "campings" where it says "Quoi, Qui", and "Vendée" where it says "Où". You get lots of results that way, and if you want to know where these camping grounds are you just click on "Plan". Good luck!

Know of a campsite, tents/caravans etc which has water and electric hook ups ( 10v). But unfortunately not near the sea, its in the Dordogne/Lot area"s of France near to Rocamadore. Has a golf course and clubhouse serving drinks and meals on site and large swimming pool.

The Vendee is an amazing place to go for your holiday.

I used to go to St Tropez but the crowds drove me away.

You will not find this area as crowded and the beaches around St.Jean de Monts are the best and go on forever as they run from Les Sable all the way to Noirmoutier.

There are loads of sites around St Hilaire de Riez & St Jean de Monts. Look for one that will suit you.

I can recomend the naturist site called Cap Natur.
