Go to Fan-Fiction web sites. Find a book, movie or character you like then find a site dedicated to them. More often than not there will be a fan-fiction area. Sign up and start writing. People will review your writing and tell you what to work on.

I reccommed Writers' Window. I use it frequently and it's rally helpful. You can add to continuous stories and youc an publish your own writing to get feedback on it. Or you can ask for tips and advice on the discussion board. I haven't even mentioned the thousands of tips that are already on there. Seriously, it's well worth checking out, and really helpful!
