  1. There is a nice caravan aprk in yarmouth called the Vauxhall holiday park and i know friends that travel just 30 mins to go there for a get away. I'm not all that sure if you can camp there though, but give them a call and find out.

    Good luck.

And in Devon there is a gorgeous place called park farm where we have stayed before but you can only ent out cottages which are lovely and i think maybe you can camp there too, you will jus be on a slightly different bit of the farm.

  2. If you want a lively holiday park in a static caravan,  I was told that "Devon Cliffs" at Exmouth is a good place to go.  I'm not sure if they have a field for touring caravans though.  There are also some parks in the Dawlish area.

It's a good idea to buy a book from somewhere like WH Smith, which lists caravan sites, so you can make your choice according to the facilities they offer.

  3. Make your mind up there about 200 miles apart.

  4. "Ruda" at Croyde Bay in Devon.  I used to go there every year.  it is right across the road from a lovely sandy beach, a short walk away from Croyde village, and a short car ride away from Ilfracombe (a lovely little harbour town), Woolacombe ( a lovely long, sandy beach) and Barnstable (a busy town with plenty of shops)

  5. Well i live in Great Yarmouth and there's Haven and Vauxhall which are worth mentioning - my brother worked at Vauxhall for 3 years as a lifeguard and it sounded pretty good.

I know these 2 places have caravans to rent but if you are bringing a caravan with you then there are numerous sites to park them but I'm not to sure of where these are - you'll have 2 b a bit of internet research. (I'm not sure if u can bring your own caravan 2 the two sites mentioned)

As you said Great Yarmouth/Devon I'm assuming u r deciding between the 2 places 4 a holiday - Yarmouth is very tourist orientated but the only problem is that its c**p if its raining! Its ok generally tho - we have a cinema, aquarium, town centre with loads of shops, a small 'theme park', a bigger theme park about 20 minutes away, we're half an hour from Norwich which is a really nice city, and our seafront is pretty d**n good i hav 2 say - we hav loads of amusements etc, oh and there's quite a few places to eat etc as well :-)

Its worth visiting but not for longer than a week cos it gets a bit boring

(Never been 2 Devon so cant help with that)
