  1. would  you  like to  go for a backwater  criuse  in kerala , it would be  very good experience .

  2. Ok, You have a few options. I know some absoulutely Wonderful cruises from New York, or Cape Liberty, New Jersey, which is about 30 minutes south of NY. I say anything on Carnival, Norwegian, or Royal Carribbean. You Can fly into Philadelphia, Newark, Kennedy, or Laguardia. I would have to say Philadelphia. It is not as busy as the others, and airfare would be Cheaper. The ride from Phila to New York, or Cape Liberty is about  an hour. By train 45 minutes. The train ride to either place would be on about50 estra U.S. dollars, or 25 pounds.

Now to which cruises to take.

The cruises i will reccomend, go in order from top to bottom, and all leave from either NY, or Cape Liberty.

    1. 8 days all summer long, Carnival Miracle

    Eastern Caribbean.

    2. 5 nights Bermuda. Royal Caribbean EAxplorer of the Seas.

    3. 9 night eastern Caribbean. Same ship.

    4. 8 Night, Bermuda and Eastern Caribbean,

    NCL Spirit.

Now if you don't like any of those you'll love this.

I am sure you have heard of the Freedom of the Seas. Royal Caribbean's New Super Ship.

In May of this year, they will launch there second incarnation.

The liberty of the Seas. This will alos do Caribbean cruises, BUT.

One year later. The third version. The Independence of the Seas.

Will travel throughout Europe, Mainly leaving from Southhampton, an will do any thing from 3-16 day cruises.

That is my reccomendation. You'll have to wait a little, but the ship will be amazing.

Check the websites, mainly Royal Caribbean for information the she cruises. You can already book for the Independence, which i reccomend. The rooms will fill up fast. So book soon. If you book, 6-9 months before your cruise, you get the best deals.

    Good Luck, Have Fun

  3. Here is an excellent site with some options 4 U.

  4. We went on a Med cruise out of Barcelona, Spain.  It was 12 days and went to Nice, three stops in Italy, 3 stops in Greece, and a stop in Turkey.  It was really nice and I do recommend it.  We went on Royal Caribbean, a very good cruise line.

I also recommend a cruise to the Baltic area, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Poland, etc..  We went on that cruise out of Dover, England on Celebrity cruise line.  It was a  14 day cruise.

If you want a less expensive cruise you need to look for one that is seven (7) days or less.  I suggest that you visit web sites for cruise lines and look for those leaving from the UK or nearby so that you don't have to pay a big airfare to get to the departure port.  Also be aware that all cruises are sold "double occupany".

  5. i went on the Royal Caribbean cruise...(pirates of the sea) and tickets were cheap. i think its 800.00 a person, but that includes the 17 story boat, roller skating, eating, drinking, state room, pool, ice cream/food stands(free), slides, mini golf, casino, night clubs, kids activities, and much much more.

  6. Done about 16 cruises now.  Probably older than you so our preferences may not be yours.

Don't like US cruise lines, everything is so false!

P+O is superb English style, but you may find old fashioned and a bit more expensive!

Fly to - for example - Barcelona for a med cruise and you save the 2 days from UK to get there and 2 days back!

Don't like the really big boats 100,000tons+, so impersonal and too many people.   70,000tons (about 1,700 guests) is better.

We've also done the Baltic capitals and Norwegian fjord's from UK, less sun but much more interesting.

We are now much more into the small specialist ships up to 12,000tons going to Alaska, Antarctica Greenland etc and really small ships to Spitzbergan, Galapagos etc.   On this size of ship (typically from 15 - 200 guests) you can see so much more and are treated as an individual, not one of 4,000!    No fancy entertainment etc but natures best entertainment all around you!  Watched a polar bear eating a seal in Spitzbergan, walked among 300,000 king penguins in South Georgia and been in a pod of about 30 humpback whales for over 2 hours in Antarctica!

They are much more expensive - but worth it once you realise there are cruises other than the fancy big ships !
