  1. THERE are loads in that area.

  2. Proceed to China town. Avoid resturants that are handing out fliers or offering "all you can eat" buffets. When you spot a resturant with chinese families eating in it, you have found a good resturant. Look off the main drag, away from the tourist traps.

  3. Am I correct to think china town is a couple of blocks above the square?? rich choice in there

  4. Try New World Restaurant- they serve dim sum in trolleys during the day as well as other dishes you can order. They are located near Gerrard Street I think.

  5. There are so many, I've not had a bad experience

Get of the main street though as they are overpriced for the tourist trade.

  6. Can't answer your question directly. However in Australia we have a saying. It their fellow countrymen are eating there, that's the place to go. So walk around and check inside the restaurants. See, same, then you could just about guarantee a decent meal. Enjoy... :-)

  7. If you like unhygenic, greasy, poorly prepared food China Town is great.

  8. For upmarket, try 'Aroma' - there are three and are all good. 'China China' is cheap and cheerful and alot of Chinese people go there - a good sign.
