  1. You are only a couple of minutes away from the Carnaby Street area which has a few decent bar/pubs (and is a bit cooler than Regent Street) or the Midas Touch in golden square is nice on a summers evening.

I hope the dude who suggested a Wetherspoons was taking the pee pee, if he wasn't then I expect his wife got her wedding ring from Elizabeth Duke at Argos! Wetherspoons are great if you want to hang around the local wino's and tramps!

  2. get a nice sandwich a take away coffee and sit in the park,

  3. Two Floors is a fun place with a Tiki bar downstairs:

    3 Kingly Street.

But if you want somewhere more cosy there's the Cork & Bottle Wine Bar 44-46 Cranbourne St.

Unfortunately 'reasonably priced' is kind of hard to find in town!

Maybe try the Bricklayer's Arms, 31 Gresse Street. It's got a few floors, one with nice comfy sofas. They do funny brands of lager and are cheaper than most other places.

  4. the Dover street wine bar in dover st off regents st.

foods good and has a good atmosphere.  cafe royale,

  5. With that name there can only be one venue for you. Bit tacky but quite fun and in-expensive. Cheers bar, bottom of Regent st. near Picadilly Circus. It would've been Frasier's choice! Good luck.

  6. Match Bar, it's just off regents street.

  7. LOTS of intimate little places in that area.

    good luck with first date.

  8. Or how about Annex 3.

Although it does not meet you reasonably priced criteria.

Does it have to be a Bar, what about the Nordic Cafe in Golden square? Or Bar Italia further over into Soho?

  9. best bet is a wetherspoons because they are cheaper than other pubs, there are about 3 in the area one on charing cross road but check out their website.

  10. hey MARTIN, no wetherspoons in that area, so you should have 2 points taken away, anyway i Know The Cheers bar near Piccadilly Circus same side as Burger King, but be careful its the kinda place you can walk past, its very close to 2 jumper shops, Good Luck wherever you go.

  11. There must be a wetherspoons down there somewhere, that should do the trick!

  12. You could try the following:

All Bar One at the top end of Regent Street

Match Bar on Margaret St just off Regent Street

Hush or Rocket in Lancashire Court just of New Bond Street

    Strada on New Burlington Street

    The Warwick on Warwick Street

    Bar Chocolate on D'Arbly Street

  13. Yes..go to All Bar One...you'll love it!
