Can anyone recomend a restaurant near Tamworth in the Midlands for a quiet romantic meal?

We like The Plough  (country pub) at Huddlesford  about 5 miles out of Tamworth nr Lichfield the food is great

Renato's is lovely - remo is the son of Renato the singer and is a friend of mine.

Champagne Indian Fusion is good too.  they are both in the town centre.

if you want to go a bit further afield you could try the tame otter pub (lovely food there), or head out to lichfield or birmingham.

the old school house at weeford is supposed to be good, but pricey, or if you like seafood go to Loch Fyne in Mere Green.

Have you thought of the place in Little Church lane that is owned by Rennee of Rennee and Ronato fame who I believe may sing for you if ask.  I believe you have to book as it is popular.
