I'm looking for something to record freeview TV with. It should also have a multi-region DVD player (and possibly recorder). Not too bothered on cost, but don't really want something too expensive.

  1. I have a Sony RDR-HXD860. Fantastic machine easiest thing in the world to operate, 160 GB hard drive. Bought it december 2005 for £400 I think there is now a new model HXD870 or HXD970 for a lot less money, What HI-FI product of the year thoroughly recommended you won't be dissappointed. Good Luck
