Question:

Can anyone recommend a Halal restaurant in Nottingham?

We have Muslim guests at work and need to take them for a meal on Thursday evening. I have researched the net but not having much luck.

  1. Im not from that area, but the best thing you can do is probably go to an indian/bengali restaurant so they can choose anything. Otherwise if you want to go somewhere different then it should have vegetarian options or fish as they can eat both of those! hope this helps and enjoy your meal!


  2. There is a halal restaurant called Ahmed's Barbecue Delights in Nottingham. There is a range of halal meat dishes, as well as vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is listed on the Halal Monitoring Committee website (www.halalmc.co.uk) which ensures that the meat is halal. If you click on the 'restaurants and takeaway' section on the website it will bring up a list of restaurants, and they have contact details for the restaurant too.

    They have 2 restaurants - one on sneinton dale road, and one in hyson green (just up the road from Asda).
