  4. Something from recycled material.

  5. A new life would be good !!!

  6. Donate the money to a cause they are really into

Or a box  of locally grown fruit and or veg

Have a look down your local reclamation yard or charity shops for something you just know they will like.

  7. Does the person have a house?

Buy him a solar powered outdoor light ('accent light').

This is cool green technology. They are typically a projector style lamp, using white LED's, hooked to a wire going to a small solar panel equipped with rechargeable batteries. The panel goes to a high point like a gutter or wall, and the lamp goes under a tree to make it look pretty or on the house to see stairs or a garage door

    They consume zero energy

  8. sea monkeys!, ohhh a frame with loads of leaves in it, it'll be really cool, itll be like a picture but with leaves in order of different colours

  9. Have a look at this website I have stumbled across.  The mug looks pretty cool.  It's one of those heat changing types.  Plenty of more stuff on their too if you are interested in all things green.  Good luck

  10. Buy them a tree to hug

  11. How about a gift certificate?  Here in the states there are 2 enterprises, Acorn Naturalists and The Road Less Traveled, where one can shop in person or order online.  I've included the links, but there's probably something out there in your neck of the woods your friend would enjoy.  Good luck!

  12. If you want something a little different, have a look at the below link.  Carbon Footprint has teamed up with Tree Appeal enabling you to ‘Pledge a Tree’ that will be planted & grown in the area of your choice.....Cost is about £12 per tree.

  13. a compost bin and a bag of worms.

    my friend loved hers

  14. plants, earthern pots, i agree with tin can models they are so unique, u sure should check out tincanmodels.com

  15. Well anything would be good! if their a good friend then they wont care much about what you give them!!! well since I'm into environmental things too, it would be good to give them a tree, an environment card, or just about anything. just trust your self!!!

  16. recycling bins are good, come in all shape and sizes :0)

  17. Get them a bonsai tree!

  18. A tree to soak up some carbon dioxide

  19. Check out the  discovery channel for great gifts!!

  20. plant a tree in their honor and give them the certificate or adopt a road or highway in their name... if that fails get them a gift certificate to an organic store.

  21. there are loads of websites with eco friendly or recycled gifts just google it.

My favourite is tincanmodels.com with all sorts of stuff like car models and handbags made out of cans and so cheap!!!

  22. Energy saving light bulbs. Or if yolu look on ebay you will find solar powered lights.

  23. The most environmental stuff is no stuff at all because manufacturing stuff does damage.  Think in terms of a concert, a dance or an art exhibition, providing it does not involve a car journey.  However if that does not appeal and you have to resort to stuff then the Centre For Alternative Technology has some good suggestions at http://www2.cat.org.uk/shopping/

  24. try oxfam or help the aged charity shops for charitable gifts, eg gardening tools for farmers, trees, helping to fund piped clean water for villages and farms, great for birthdays on christmas.
